I have just had my first eye exam with Matthews Eyecare and I felt compelled to do this review. Such a friendly bunch of people and very professional. Through eye exam and informative. But the choice of glasses is the icing on the cake. Very hard to choose, so many suited me . Where I have struggled with other places to choose. Matthews have such a unique and extensive range I was blown away . Made me feel good about wearing glasses. Definitely my optometrist from here on in . And they are all over the country. I recently purchased new frames from Kuske in Nelson. Marc booked an appointment for me with Mathews Nelson for an eye test. Elizabeth carried out the test and it was the most comprehensive eye test I have ever experienced. Marc then sent the frames to Mathews in Blenheim and the excellent service continued. In Blenheim I had Ellie helping me with the lense sizing and I was very impressed with her thorough explanation of how they should work for me. Not long after this appointment, I was contacted to say the completed glasses had arrived for me to collect. The combination of Kuske and Mathews was seamless and excellent. I should add that I live in Kaikoura and was visiting Nelson at the time, hence the various people involved. All totally deserve a five star review.

Yesterday I went here and I am so happy with the service here. The woman who helped me (I am pretty sure her name was Elizabeth) was super helpful, friendly and her awesome service really made my day / week!
